Something Sweet for Mama {and a Natural Living link-up}

 Today, my little man picked flowers for Mama… for the very first time.

 Can you imagine my pleasure when this sweet boy presented me with a slightly smashed dandelion bloom, his sticky face lite with love?

Mama,” he announced with obvious pride over his gift.

I just love my precious boy.

    I don’t have one on natural living, but I’ll post my most recent!  I am natural “newbie” !!!

    SO precious! The other day I took the children to a botanical park. They had a good time, but didn’t seem overly impressed (partly, I suppose, because it’s winter!) When we got home, a dandelion had bloomed in the yard. They oohed and aahed… and brought the lovely trophy to me. :)

      Isn’t it funny how the simple things in life seem to please children the most?   We adults can take a few lessons from our little people!

    I don’t have any “Natural Living” posts to link to, but we have been trying to eat more healthy since the beginning of the year.  We are eating steamed veggies instead of microwaved, frequent salads, less fried foods, and no microwaving!  We were cutting way back on our microwaving and then guess what?!  It went completely out!  A sure fire way to get us to quit using it all together! :)  Our family has collectively lost 32 pounds since the first of January and my husband’s blood pressure is coming down!  We are very happy!  Thanks in part to your article on microwave cooking we began the process of using it less!

    Thanks, Kristy!
